Welcome to the Head Quarters of 'Dumbledore's
Army'.
Before we go any
further let me tell you what Dumbledore's Army is incase you don't know.
Hermione had the idea that it might be good if people who wanted to study
Defense Against the Dark Arts - who really wanted to study it, not the rubbish
Umbridge was teaching them - to defend themselves against the Dark Lord form a
group. They then chose Harry as their leader as he was the one who had any
experience of actually fighting the Dark.
They named themselves Dumbledore's
Army because that's what Fudge's greatest fear, Dumbledore making an army to
fight against him. And they were rebelling against the Ministry of Magic, so
that would have been the best name. And thus the D.A. was found and that was
where Harry and the others practiced Dark Arts, away from Umbridge.
This site is the
home of the online D.A. The online D.A. or E-D.A. is a group of dedicated HP
Fans who want to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts and all the other subject
without any restrictions, or who want to live the magic of Hogwarts.
If you have come to this site for the first time, we
suggest that you go in order of the menu to left. This will enable you to visit
all the sections of our site and take the full advantage of it. Though if you
don't wish to go in the order we suggest that you read the Rules / F.A.Q.
section of our site before proceeding any further.
